I think women probably tend to deal with emotional issues better because of the stupid stigma around men expressing themselves emotionally, but that certainly doesn't mean there aren't women out there who take rejection badly. Also, statistically men are more likely to get rejected as they are more likely to ask out a woman than vise versa
