Why can the Police not grant bail with a Bail hostel as an imposed condition?
I was wondering if anyone knew the answer to this as it would be beneficial for my A-Level Police Powers work.

If they have 'substantial grounds' to believe the accused would fail to surrender; reoffend; be a danger to himself or the public; interfere with witnesses or evidence.
I thought, initially, it is beyond Police powers to do this, that it would be only within the remit of the Court for this. Maybe I'm mistaken.
