I’ll reply here rather than on the other thread.

It all depends on what you want to do really, what your career aspirations are, etc.

Have you thought about pros and cons of each route?

To be honest, the pro is i get to have a masters certificate, and i dont have to do that again in the future when i upper my level in the work field however my only con is its 4 years and extra hard work. Is it worth it though? I really dont have a career aspiration at the moment as bad as it sounds. I was wondering if anyone is at a similar situation and what motivated them to take masters dual course. Would love to hear a feedback from everyone

there are lots of specialist masters so if you know you want to work with adults, youre better doing the three year one and a further masters in the area that you want to work in

I'm doing the dual. Adult and Mental Health.

Masters is paid for by SF (obviously we pay it back) so you don't have to find the money to do another masters. Unless you want to.

NHS learning support fund for 4 yrs.

You will have to do the mandatory 450hrs over 3yrs in both specialisms for NMC pin once qualified.

I'm my uni you can still bail out at 3 yrs if you wish and just specialise in the discipline that was taught in the 1st 2 yrs.

I really like the fact that I will have daul registration.
