Difference between Available and Current balance???

One is always higher than the other and it confuses me. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Available does not include pending purchases

Current Balance is the the amount of money you have in your account, this is the higher figure

Available Balance is the lower one, remember all your purchases when you use your debit/credit card are not taken out immediately , some transactions could take days to clear from your account (pending etc).
Current: amount of money in account.

Available: amount you may withdraw. As said above, takes into account things that haven't already gone through, but also includes overdraft amount.
