to find the y intersection dont we substitute the x with zero so cos (-pi/3) is the intersection??? why is it wrong

cos(π3)=12\displaystyle \cos \left( - \frac{\pi}{3} \right) = \frac{1}{2}

Did you not simplify further or not have your calculator in radians?
