Medicine in exams?

Hello!
I am sooo ill at the moment with the flu and my exams are coming up in 5 days!
I was just wondering if you're allowed to bring medication in with you into the hall whilst you take you're GCSE exams (like cough syrup, soothers, paracetamol etc.) because I don't know how I'm going to get through the exam without it all :frown:
I'd take it all beforehand but what if I start having a coughing fit halfway through the exam (and some of my exams are up to 2 hours long!)
I'll really appreciate any responses!

I think you're allowed medication but you have to announce it to your exams officer/head of year first. Ask them just to check, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be allowed them if you're unwell.
