hi everyone!
i am currently a 4th year medic & have started my exams yesterday which will decide whether or not i am able to progress to 5th year.
i am a little bit embarrassed to have gotten through four years of medicine without figuring out what works for me. i have never been a 'top decile' performer and never aimed for this as the place i always wanted to apply to for my F1 & F2 is not very competitive at all - i guess it doesn't matter anyway now, right?
so far, i have never failed an exam in med school and have passed comfortably every year. i'm not keen on basing my knowledge on exam performance and try to solidify everything i know throughout the year but really can't get the hang of it! i do really well on multiple choice questions but feel like i don't know ANYTHING off the top of my head for my OSCEs or written exams :/
does anyone have any tips? i feel like i have tried everything - Anki, notes, flash cards, reading & combinations of it all but i just can't seem to vibe with anything
much appreciated in advance!
