Yeah ikr  parade's End is my deal man I relate to that poem so much
Question 1 was 3 marks if I remember correctly. It was the third mark for the correct unit (cm^3)

I got 100-25pi in the question.

However stupid me didn't think it was that easy and that it was in its simplest form so I put 75pi as my final answer.

However all my working out was correct and the answer is in my working out.

But the answer i put in the box is wrong.

How many marks will I loose? :frown:

They might not take away anything
but most probably youll loose 1 mark because i think that question had an asterisk at the side which means they check vigorously your working out and not just read the final answer.
So propably 1 mark offf

For the circle theorem, I got it wrong but I wrote

-Angles in triangle = 180
-Isosceles triangle so two sides are same
-Tangent meets radius so 90
180 - 48(2) = 84
How many marks would this get?..

2/3 marks

I don't remember the question, but I remember one of my answers being 1.4, so i presume so.
IMG_0539.jpg Something like this came up this is what I did for that question is that right? And how many marks was this???
Original post by 34908seikj
Yep I believe it was 0.8*0.95 = 0.76

it was 0.4 but you lot have remembered what the question was wrong. I dont remember exactly but it was either the combination of rain and not cancelled or no rain and cancelled which would in fact lead to a low propability answer
I was very happy with the test until I found the 2 very dumb mistakes I made!

For the question on teachers, I worked out the number of female teachers (54) and wrote that down in my answer but by chance, along the way I worked out and labelled the total number of teachers as 90. Do you think they will accept it even though I didn't put it as my final answer?

Also, for the last question, I got to the point when area = 3/4 - (root 6)/12 and then I made a horribly stupid mistake to write area = (36 - (root 6))/12. How many marks will this lose me if it was a 3 mark question? I'm hoping for just 1.

For the circle and square question, I wrote

10 X 10 = 100CM"2
Area of circle = PIE R"2
and then did 100/25
How many marks do i get?

2 probably or maybe 1 out of 3
