1. I got T = 12 for the 10 marker but around ~ 46.5 for the final distance
2. (Original post by Hep123)
did people get 8 for the bearing?
Yes i think so

How did you do the finding the angle of the ramp question? I did some weird thing where I cancelled mass, (f=ma), probably didn't work.
yeah i did same ,I think thats the right way to do it
4. (Original post by Hep123)
13.6 I think not 100% sure
I got 1.98 seconds

Could you tell me how you worked it out?
5. (Original post by 1TrueMeaning)
What did you get for t in the first question.

Angle of the ramp? Any ideas?
I tried finding the verticals height of the ramp by seeing how much the toy would fall under gravity from u=0 but this came out to be larger 7m and sin-1(7\1) doesn't exist
6. How did everone else find it?

7. (Original post by RUNSran)
yeah i did same ,I think thats the right way to do it
Cool, didn't know what else to do seing as all we had was acceleration.

My answers, no idea how many are right:

Question 1 (Momentum)

0.4m/s
15kg

Question 2 (Particles/Vectors)

P=14
Q=-17

(16i-8j)

Question 3 (Toy Car on Slope)

1.5ms^2
1.8m/s

Question 4 (Airplane)

V = 12m/s
Resultant = 90.8m/s
008°

Question 5 (Connected Particles)

3.92ms^-2
2.50m/s
1.12m

Question 6 (Cleaning Device at 60°)

Tsin60+5g
T=43.8N

Question 7 (Football Projectile)

1.76s
13.6m
13.2m/s
No air resistance

Question 8 (Helicopters)

80.5m

I got the same answers as you apart no 8what do you think think garde boundaries will bw?
9. I got a lot of them on that unofficial mark scheme

10. How many Marks do you think you'd get on the 10 marker if you got upto t=5 and t=25 and then did the rest wrong? Is it still possible to pick up method marks if you follow through the wrong answer but use the correct method?

I got the same answers as you apart no 8 .what do you think think garde boundaries will bw?
12. what was the velocity of the first question????
13. (Original post by Hep123)
I got 12s sorry Im stressing now haha because vectors will be parallel when vector a is a multiple of vector b
12 is exactly what I got as well
14. For the modelling assumption [1] I thought it was about air resistance but even a particle would have air resistance so I wrote that the ball cannot stretch and reaches the edges of the box and can't bounce off or tip into the box it can only land exactly on the edge
15. anyone get something like 106m for q8?
16. (Original post by Examguy123)
I got 1.98 seconds

Could you tell me how you worked it out?
I believe you took Sv as being -1 and g as -g? It had to be 1 and -g.
17. (Original post by koolgurl14)
well i used t=5 because only the i component of the velocity is the same therefore i subbed 5 into the r=ut+1/2at^2 of the A and the r=ut+1/2at^2 + r original of the B then i subtracted the two r from each other to get the distance then i added the square of the i component and the square of the j component and square rooted the answer. Its really hard to explain it without paper and pen I'm not even sure of my answer lol
I got t=25 since you have to make j components equivalent (same horizontal plane) then subbed in 25 into the s=ut+1/2at^2 then i subracted A from B since AB=OB-OA i got 75i + 62.5 j Then did pythagoras to get 97.6
18. I got around 119m for question 8. Because of equal gradient didn't you need to divide the js by is and equate them for B and A? I did that and simplified to get 119m as a final result.
19. What do you guys think the boundaries will be?
