1. So how would you make "x" the subject:

y = x / x - 5
2. y = x / ( x -5)
y ( x - 5 ) = x
xy - 5y = x
x ( y - 1) = 5y
x = 5y / ( y - 1 )
3. y = x / (x - 5)
y (x - 5) = x
yx - 5y = x
x (y - 1) = 5y
x = 5y / (y - 1)
