US General says World War 3 is guaranteed

A general thinks there's going to be a war. That's not news: they're paid to prepare for possible conflict. Even if there was evidence that Russia and China are becoming best buddies-which there isn't- there is a little thing called Mutually Assured Destruction which is enough of a deterrence, not to mention the economic and logistical problems. The superpowers are expected to perform deals and standard military tests to validate their positions because " the best defence is a good offense". It doesn't mean they want WW3.

Not to mention 20 megaton weapons, AI super soldiers, terminator tanks. Feel free to lap up all the sensationalist propaganda you warmonger.

Mutually assured destruction assumes that the leaders of both countries are acting rationally. It would be mad to use nuclear weapons. However we know that humans often dont act rationally and we have certainly had insane leaders before. It also doesnt account for belief in the afterlife,an islamist goverment is probably more likely to use nuclear weapons because they dont believe they will die properly. So MAD is not a guarantee against nuclear war because it rests upon flawed assumptions. The reality is that someone will eventually use nuclear weapons again. We have never had a weapon we havent used. Its just a matter of time.

They're kicking ass in Syria because they're actually being used and ISIS don't really have AA, even the Russians accept they would be massacred against Western Air Forces

How can you declare it's a flop when it's not yet in service?

<tongueincheekmodeon>With the Septics' propensity for friendly (sic) fire he may very well be right <tongueincheekmodeoff>
These sort of comments is what is known as horizon scanning. Nothing else to see here though.

America bombed a syrian army convoy who were on there way to fight ISIS a couple of weeks ago killing 83 syrian soldiers, apparently it was 'accidental', but in reality it only shows the US's true intentions. Now russia has deployed s300 and s400 missile defense systems to protect themselves and syrian personnal from any future 'accidents'.

Russia has had SAM systems in Syria for months... quite some time before this incident occured. The media just hasnt publicised the forward deployment. Same with the forward deployment of the TU-22s to a base in Iran. That would have been easy to predict considering they were already using the base as a refueling point before the forward deployment.
