16 ISIS terrorists killed when explosive belt accidentally detonates

16 of their fighters, including senior figures, have reportedly been killed when the malfunctioning suicide vest went off in one of their meetings.

The terror group had been meeting in the village of al-Mahaws, 35km southwest of Kirkuk, to plan an attack on security forces

 What absolute morons. Why on earth would you wear suicide belts to a meeting? It's almost like they enjoy walking around in them to feel "closer to Allah".

On other ISIS news, it has been reported that Bahgdadi was poisoned during a feast. Apparently a spy managed to put a toxin in his food. But these reports are unverified.

Also, CJTF-OIR (Coalition Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve), the command authority in charge of anti-ISIS operations, has progressively been releasing fewer and fewer videos of airstrikes against ISIS. There has been no let up in the withering rain of bombs and missiles coming down on ISIS, it seems to be that they are now confident of victory that they don't need to keep releasing them for morale/public relations purposes. Anyway, here's one of the latest ones (not particularly interesting by the standards of some that have come before)

I hope it's true though. Amazing that they thought they could win. Can't wait for the Mosul operation to begin.

...?

Indeed, and the launch of the liberation of Mosul is imminent. Many thought it wouldn't happen until next year. The Iraqis really have got their **** together, and with the overwhelming battlefield superiority of Iraqi ground forces supported by coalition airpower, ISIS simply can't win a stand-up fight anymore. They haven't launched any major offensive for over a year now, and I expect that ISIS in Iraq will very shortly revert to insurgent tactics (in fact, in many ways they already have)
Looool wonder why the ISOC people aren't coming on here and stating their approval at this
