You could borrow an aged relatives false teeth and practise mending them with an electric drill from a diy store. Practise drilling holes in the teeth and then fill the holes in with polyfiller for a few hours every day. That will give you some idea of what a dentist's work is like. Also buy a hypodermic syringe and practise sticking it into false gum area while saying," you'll just feel a little scratch, breathe in."
