Strothes policies with guests?

Anyone know if its ok for mates to come and visit? Just one of my mates is wanting to come down for night during freshers week

I stayed at Ashenhurst (and am for a second year), which is run by the same company...I think it's OK, and that there's a book to sign them in/out on, probably for H&S measures...I think.

when i was there my flatmate had one of her mates over, and when she went to the reception (like it tells you in the bookle they give you) to 'sign him in' they looked at her as if she was crazy lol if you want anyone to stay over, dont bother telling reception, they really dont care at all. they dont even care if people are blasting music until the early hours lol and as you turn into storthes theres a little field bit on the left that people usually park on, so just tell them to go there if theyve got a car :smile:

One of my room-mates had her bf stopping from december til the end of uni in my first year, they don't seem to bother!

They say you're supposed to sign people in, but they really don't care. Theres a lad on my course that lived in his girlfriends flat nearly all year and no one knew
