Same sex accommodation

I want to attend Bristol university in 2023-2024 but I am not sure if I should pick same sex. I would like to pick same-sex residency as I don't feel comfortable sharing a living space with the opposite sex. But I would like my bf to come round here and there, but I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable. Is there any policies about visitation in same sex accommodation?

"Students living in single-sex accommodation can have visitors or guests of the opposite sex in their accommodation."

Sounds like they're very clear what everyone is signing up for (although you obviously may still end up with flatmates who aren't comfortable with it, but that's just a usual flat compromising situation rather than breaking any rules).
