Personal statements and shameless self promotion

Ok, as I expect everyone knows, I am writing my Uniguide website with my diary of applying to university. Now I am trying to extend the site by writing a section on how to write a personal statement, as reading the forum, lots of people are getting down to writing theirs.

As well as sticking this post here to advertise the page, I am also asking for a bit of help. Could anyone who has written a personal statement help me out here by letting me put their personal statement on my site or offering tips on writing personal statements.

Unfortunately you won’t get much recognition for this, but I will put your name up on the thankyou list page of my site.
