May I recommend a book for those who struggle with the Maths in Chemistry:

Calculations in AS/A level Chemistry by Jim Clark.

i found this one really helpful in drawing out lewis structures with co-ordinate / dative covalent bonds. It also has some clips on hybridization, sigma and pi bonding

www.a-levelchemistry.co.uk is a great site for A-level Chemistry and targeted for AQA students. It has notes, exercises, homework assessments and PAST PAPERS FROM 2002. Get revising people for your January Exams!!!
Chemistry AQA Module 2 OLD SPECIFICATION (for people resitting Chem 2, not those taking it the first time!)

Thank you very much, these notes are really helpful...

Got these sheets on an open day and found them really useful, files are a bit big but its worth it. Theres a summary flowchart of organic reactions (very detailed, covers pretty much all A-level organic and higher) and guidelines on drawing structures.

Alright, it's Easter now and I have very little to do, so I guess I'll put up some notes on the Wiki. Here's the 2 main specifications:
http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki/Revision:colone:dexcel_GCE_Chemistry_Specification
http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki/Revision:AQA_GCE_Chemistry_Specification
The aim would have to be to do both unit 1 and 2 for both specifications by the end of Easter I think. Would be great if everyone could something up, even if it's in too much detail, because editing can always come afterwards
Updated the first post to say you can now uploading revision notes can now help you get a subscription to The Student Room.

Has any1 got notes targeted for ocr according to specification
We previously used to offer TSR Riches in exchange for revision notes. However, we currently do not offer any for revision notes added after 13th July 2009. Please watch to see if we offer riches for revision notes again.

Thanks to everyone who has added their notes to the site recently - we've managed to grow the library by several hundred pages. Still got some notes? Then you can still upload them to the site if you wish

This tactic is so flawed... You offer incentives when people have no time to add notes, and take it away when most have loads of spare time. The summer holidays is, IMO, the best time to give rewards for notes - I'm sure you can tempt many people into typing something up.

Suprisingly, based on what you've said, we've seen the number being added drying up over the last couple of week and not getting nearly as many new ones being created as we saw in the middle of exam season.

This, along with the time it takes to manually check the notes and give the riches at a time of year when we're actually busier than in exam periods means we've considered it best to stop the incentives now. It's a shame, as it would be nice to offer this all the year round. But that would only be feasible if we could develop some automated way of giving the riches out....you never know - it may be possible to get something like this looked in to in future
I'm frustrated that they don't do WJEC revision books/guides. That would be so, so helpful..
I made some basic maths for chemists notes, but I'm not sure if its appropriate for this forum, as its pure maths. Any advice?

Here are some notes for Chemistry Unit 5 AQA. The exam was today but someone might like them in the future. I basically went through the entire spec this weekend. The file was too big to upload all at once so I split it in half.
