Why does sin theta + 180 = -sin theta

Why does sin theta +360 = sin theta

Plot the graphs on Desmos.com. They're periodic.

Look at the graph of sinθ\sin \theta. If you translate it to the left by 180 degrees then you will end up with a mirror reflection of the same thing in the x-axis. Hence the two transformations are equal, so we say sin(θ+180)=sinθ\sin(\theta + 180) = - \sin \theta

Because sine repeats itself every 360. Just like cosine. Tap repeats every 180 degrees instead.
Simple. Try drawing the normal sin theta but than move the y-axis to +180 on the x axis. than below it draw the -sin theta (its a normal graph but where everything is the opposite. so you start at 0 and go to -1). than youll see that the two graphs are the same. dunno if you need a more mathematical way of working it out.
