Edexcel Unit 5 Decolonisation

Thought I'd make a thread for everyone out there taking this exam in June. I, for one, see this as my weakest paper. The fact there isn't a specific textbook for the unit is a real letdown. Anyone have any good notes that they'd like to share with a fellow historian?

Incredibly poor to be honest. The fact that there is no core textbook for this module is a real let down :frown:

Yeah that is quite annoying. Have you been doing past papers? What textbooks do you use?

We use:
Access To History: The British Empire, 1815-1914 - Frank MacDonagh
Access To History: End of Empires: European Decolonisation, 1919-80 - Gary Thorn

this unit is such a bore, studying it alone takes over 2 days. I have plenty of notes but they r on paper :frown:

sorry i dont hav a scanner. You know yal can surf and accumilate notes if that helps..
