Aaaagh linear programming! It's so dull and takes up so much time for not that many marks

It is not possible, to get an A* in maths one needs say at least 85%. There are more than 25 marks out of 100 in each paper for accuracy, ie. getting the final answer correct. Even scaling in coursework, it is not possible to make this 85% mark.

And if the grade boundaries are going up this year, then it surely isn’t possible as the number of accuracy marks won’t be going down.

anyway you made me miss the point. all maths sucks. it is just a bunch of symbols which convey no empirical or useful information whatsoever - it is just swathes and swathes of information which by definition are equal. it is the most pointless thing because it communicates nothing at all. it is almost like a tautology. it is only useful when solving problems, but we need maths because humans are so imperfect that we cannot store and process data in our heads; humans are imperfect because nothing is obvious to us, and we need paper to write down by definition, obvious information. how strange is that. when you see mathematicians get off to maths, in actuality they are not getting happy over the brilliance of maths, but to the imperfection of humans, which is why mathematicians are wastemen. if we were perfect logical and calculating machines, we would not need maths because maths would almost be built in, evident information, which in a way it is. hence humans suck. and we are evolving at an alarmingly slow rate, hence we will suck for a long time to come.

lol.

[please don't neg rep me]

 Pos. for that lol

So really what you mean is that HUMANS are crappy and 'suck', and maths is our solution for our crappiness?
