what type of physics do you learn in chemical engineering

I like physics but want to do my degree in chemical engineering and just wondering how much physics is actually in the course
There is quite a bit of physics. Mainly, mechanics (pipes, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer), thermodynamics, some materials. Most people find this boring because when they say physics they expect waves, space and particles but we don't have any of that. There is definitely more physics that chemistry though. The word 'chemical' is quite misleading.
