from reading it, it seems like a "vocational" computing by analysing the sociological effects of computers on the world. I think
It does have a computing component, but it seems to be mostly theory. It covers the effects/applications of digital technology in several fields of the humanities, from film studies (digital preservation, etc.) to literature (digitizing text and then analyzing it - I think they discovered some fakes this way) to cultural heritage (re-constructing archaeological sites and objects in 3D computer programs) and war studies (recreating battle movements etc.).
