Very low minimum fares (that increase as tickets are sold), and charge for absolutely everything. The lowest fair is trumpeted, despite virtually no one getting it, without paying for extras.

They also seem to think that any publicity is good.

They also fly only one variant (currently) of one type - the 737-800. Despite it's 1967 systems and 1997 engines, it's still a very cost effective plane, and they need only one set of parts and pilots going back 50 years.
