I've just come across this post from a week ago.

I'm not sure I totally understand your question sorry, but every university has different entry requirements so it's best to check these out at the unis you're considering. Strathclyde will ask for slightly higher grades if you're interested in our Accounting programme, as the degree is an accredited pathway and more academically demanding from a maths point of view. We don't look for specific accounting studies (although that would be useful if you have some!), but certainly need a strong grade in Maths. What subjects are you studying at the moment and I can maybe advise a bit further? Are you studying Highers/A Levels? :smile:
