How about clinical neuropsychology?

Not to be discouraging, but it's a loooong road (longer than medicine to be honest). You'd need a BPS accredited degree, then complete at least a year of relevant work, and then complete a 3 year Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Then you'd specialise with the QICN, which is integrated practice and a masters degree (you'd need to find a supervisor for this who is registered, this can be quite tricky, so some people work for a few years before starting this. This can take a few years to complete part time). It is a fantastic area though, and an area I loved in training. I might go and do the QICN one day, but enjoying not being at uni for a while first!

Is work experience needed to get into the QiCN ? If so how much ?
Took me 6 years of work experience to get on to the Doctorate in the first place.

Wow. And was all that relevant to neuroscience/neuropsychology or some neuropsychology and mental health experience?
