what if your AS modules havent been cashed in though but you want to declare them, instead of predicted ones, or just to strengthen them. is that possible?

Regarding resits it says on the UCAS website: 'You must list all subjects that have been certificated (also known as 'claimed' or 'cashed in') at GCE AS level. This includes subjects which you are taking on to A level. You should include a subject even if you are re-sitting an AS unit to improve your A level grade.'


That's talking about listing subjects as opposed to the actual modules. If we're quoting from the UCAS website, which I don't really believe to be accurate, here's what they say about modules:

"Please note that entering unit details for AS or A levels is optional"

Erm, is this correct?



resitting all units in maths, 1 unit in 1 bio and 2 in chem. I'm so confused all these threads arnt helping!

its clearly such a big confusion for everyone so why doesn't anyone make a thread/wiki/sticky about how to fill these in under different circumstances?? someone who knows what their doing!! :biggrin:
