Durham or Exeter for Natural Sciences?

I am mainly interested in the teaching and academic aspects, but any insights are welcome. The support available for disabilities/mental health are also an important factor for me.
Are there any past/current students who are willing to share their experience?
I am just trying to get as much information as I can about the natural sciences courses and unis, because I am torn between Durham and Exeter.

(P.S. Is it cold up at Durham?)
