Stupid Question but need help for Matrices

If we have a matrix ADB = I and we need to find D, what would be our order of multiplication? Would it be D = AinverseBinverse or BinverseAinverse?

Also, can someone tell me how do we actually figure out the order. I totally forgot!

why not try each one in turn and see what you get?

remember you can't assume commutativity so you can't swap the order of 2 factors in a multiplication, but associativity is OK, so (EF)G = E(FG) for any 3 matrices
