the minimum wage is rising because you can’t live on it
but you still can’t live on £6.56 per hour (if you’re 18-20 years old) 😂 Not that I am complaining because if its your first lump of money you would think its good or better than nothing but its like you’re being mugged off because a few years later someone working at minimum wage would earn more than you did because as time goes on its getting harder to live. Can someone help me understand this?

Yes it is hard to live on minimum wage ( I have done this at times) but hopefully that work experience could be a springboard to something better paid. I used to work behind the till in a petrol station, but those customer service skills helped me get a better paid job at a call centre
