Parallel Park- Different versions- Confusions!!

As u all might'hv watched several videos online, each one of is slightly different in terms of the parallel park (left or right). I found major two versions, and I m confused which one to follow:

Here I m considering the Left Reverse Parallel parking.
Version One:
1- Level the back of ur car with the one beside
2- Keep reversing with ONE SINGLE FULL LEFT TURN until u get to a 45 angle (or the path between the kerb and car becomes smaller in ur left wing mirror)
3- U straighten up the steer at this moment and back up straight (until u see the whole front of the car behind or left wing mirror is in line with the right rear light of the car in front)
4- then make Two Full Right Turn until ur car is straight/parallel to kerb

Version Two:
1- Level the back of ur car with the one beside
2- Keep reversing with FULL LEFT STEERING LOCK until u get a 45 angle (or ur the path between the kerb and car becomes smaller in ur left wing mirror)
3- then make FULL RIGHT LOCK Turn until ur car is straight/parallel to kerb

As u can see version two doesn't have the "Straightening Up" steps and relies on FULL LOCK TURNS. Can u suggest which one to follow or does it vary from car to car?
