Depending on how much each unit is worth, if they are all worth the same it should average a merit. Unless some of them are high/low marks in them if it works like that?

If you get a pass in unit 2 and a merit in unit 1, with the remaining 3 coursework units (assuming 60GLH) at a distinction level, you will get a distinction overall
