Parking near Glasgow University

I was thinking of starting g to drive into Uni from East Ayrshire.
Is there any reliable parking spots near the Uni?
I was thinking of the park and ride on shields road or kelvinbridge but don’t know how busy they can get at rush hour?
Any help would be appreciated.

The nearest Free roads to the University of Glasgow with unrestricted parking can be found on:
Kelvinside Terrace South.
Wilton Street.
Kelvinside Gardens.
Fergus Drive.
Kelvin Drive.
Grovepark Street.
Cedar Street.
Kirklee Circus.

There are others streets that are free parking nearby but to many to put down but above are a few of those.

Park and ride can be busy at peak times but you can try and see if you can get parked there if you arrive a bit earlier than usual to allow you time to find somewhere if unable to park in the park and ride carpark.
Just beware of any restrictions okay as the parking charges are expensive in and around the city centre.
