has anyone got an offer through for paramedic science yet? or to Swansea uni enquiries, do you know when they’re likely to give out offers?

Hi @lotsofsunflowers - just a quick update on your query...all applicants for Paramedic Science Sept 2023 entry should have received a response by now.

Feel free to send us a private message on here if you need us to follow up on anything else. Best wishes for the future.

Are there any group chats for swansea applicants this year

Hi @Neurosciencenerd, I hope you're doing well.

We're in the process of setting up community chat opportunities for students joining us in September - you'll get an email with more information soon. Depending on your subject, there may also be existing Swansea Uni FaceBook groups you can join too.

If we can help with anything else, get in touch any time. Gethin (Future Students Team).

Hi @justabro4526, I hope you're keeping well. Thanks for your post and sorry for the late reply.

Our BSc Applied Medical Sciences course is one of our Pathways to Medicine options - you can find out lots of information in our Quick Guide here https://www.swansea.ac.uk/medical-sciences-quick-guide/applied-medical-sciences-quick-guide/.

This year (Sept 2023) we have around 80 students starting Year 1 of the AMS degree, and approx 30 students studying the Foundation (Year 0) option. You can apply via UCAS in the same way as many other courses, with min entry requirements typically ABB (or equivalent), with Biology or Chemistry, along with another STEM subject. We review candidates on academic merits, as well as personal statements and additional experience/future aspirations.

You can connect with our current students online here https://www.swansea.ac.uk/study/student-life/ambassador-chat/. It's also worth paying us a visit if you can, to get a real feel for the location/facilities and teaching approach, as well as insights from current students https://www.swansea.ac.uk/open-days/.

If you need help with anything else, please let us know. Best of luck with everything! Gethin (Future Students Team).
