Part-time and commuting student (Masters)

Hiya, I have just received an offer for Masters Degree Literature, I will be doing part-time study starting this Sept. However, I currently live 1.5hrs commute away and will have to continue to do so for almost the whole year 1 of the course as the contract is signed on the house and I live with my non-student partner etc. I just wanted to know the likelihood of how many days and what times I would have to commute (I can contact admissions once I accept but I am hesitant to do so until I know it's viable), and to ask advice from anyone who has done similar before? Also, are there enough daytime social activities to get involved with as both a commuter and a post-grad?

Why not ask admissions now for a typical timetable (making it clear that you understand that timetables change and there’s no guarantee)?

There’s no need to wait until you reply to your offer and time commitment is a perfectly reasonable question to ask before making a commitment.
