Occupational Therapy 2023

Hiya, I am a mature student and I have applied for Occupational Therapy, has anyone had an interview for this course?
I'm really not sure what to expect, it is on Teams and there is a group interview then I have a time allocated for an individual one too.

Congrats on the interview!

I am studying podiatry and had an individual interview on Teams during the Covid pandemic.

They asked me a few questions to find out a bit about me and why I was interested in the course.

They told me about the course and then there was the opportunity to ask any questions.

So it wasn’t too scary in the end, but I was definitely nervous!

Top tips:
Be yourself. Do your research – it always looks good if you have done some background reading and can talk about the course, university, or topics of interest in your subject. Most universities will list what modules you do in each year with a short description – this can be found on their website or in their prospectus. Don’t be afraid to ask for a question to be repeated or to pause before answering and have a couple of questions prepared to ask them.
