Hi there,
Does anyone have any advice regarding studying a BSc architecture at UCD (University College Dublin) versus studying a BA architecture at the University of Edinburgh?
Thank you 😊

Dear Studentza

As a mature age student who struggled to decide between Teaching and Nursing, then 10 years later had to decide between different Universities offering Radiology. This is 100% about you and less about the University. Once you have found the degree you want to do and the Universities offering that degree. You need to deep dive into course units, practical placement opportunities, international travel opportunities, does that university offer post graduate or masters courses in your degree. Some Courses start off very specific to their field and broaden as you get to 3rd year and allow you international and placement opportunities while completing dissertations and workplace based units. Other courses start off very broad allowing you to develop workplace skills and then place you in industry and become very industry specific in their final years of study. Some Universities have great industry links and offer real world experience and practical opportunities. Some Universities understand the changing market and offer additional business', leadership, marketing and presentation skills courses to compliment their degree. If the University offers PGD's and Master's then you have returning Alumni and Industry knowledgeable students on campus to link up with. Its all about knowing your learning style and where you will gain the most benefit.
