English lit and French - anyone know anything?

Hi Everyone - Has anyine here applied to/ is at uni doing English Lit and French? At Reading doing BA Art and Creative Writing (really don't recommend it) and looking to transfer - not sure whether to stay here or try somehwere else.
Does anyone have good experiences of any unis in those departments?
