Is A Level Maths recommended for a course/career in landscape architecture?

Hello everyone,

I've recently thought of studying landscape architecture at university (I'm doing A-levels at the moment), and have been wondering if A-level maths or any prior advanced maths knowledge is required for a course or career in this field. I don't do any STEM A levels but I do A -Level Geography, which seems somewhat related to landscape architecture, but I don't know if that's sufficient for pursuing a career in it. Does anyone have any advice on this?
No. It's a design field.
As above, maths isn't required. Geography is a good foundation for landscape architecture from the changing places, environmental issues and ecology content that you will cover. Do you do any creative A levels? Check the 'Entry requirements' section on the course page on uni websites to see if there are any specific subject requirements. For example:

https://www.ravensbourne.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/ba-hons-urban-landscape-architecture

The following websites are worth a read:

Make sure the degree course you choose is accredited by the Landscape Institute. I have a lot of friends who are landscape architects and have worked for a variety of employers including councils, consulting engineering companies (eg Arup, AECOM, WSP, etc), architects and the Eden Project. The majority have also worked overseas for chunks of their career.
