Summer courses

Want to get the feedback from others on Summer schools. Does going to summer courses conducted by oxford & Cambridge will be benefecial when applying to top University. Do University consider this as an edge when making offers? On the other side apart from experiencing the university will it be beneficial to the student? If anyone has attended please provide your feedback

Attending a summer school will not give you an edge in your application as not all students would have access to them. It may, however, be useful for you to learn about your subject et cetera.

Also, it is important to stress that a lot of summer schools in Oxford and Cambridge are run by private companies and they will not be able to give you any information that is not available publicly.
