Hi @imaperson2022,

It depends what you intend to do with the electronics GCSE in the future. Take me and a friend for example. Back in college I had a friend who studied Engineering GCSE while I had no idea such a thing existed! And in Year 12 they found the concepts in physics much easier to understand than I did - but by the end of Year 12 we were on par. And as college progressed it became dependent on the hard work we put in rather than the prior knowledge we had.

Now we both are studying mechanical engineering but received vastly different grades and are in different universities. So my point is that it is not the be all and end all if you don't do it. You can get wherever you want/need to be as long as you have good grades in Maths, English and Science. The rest of them help you develop skills and make life just a bit easier at the start of college, depending what subject you choose.
