need help in two questions of Biology.

it says,

In some embryo cells, interphase can last an average of nine hours.
The diagram shows the relative proportions of time spent in each part of the
cell cycle.
a pie chart follows : cytokinesis-15 degrees
mitosis- 75 degrees
interphase- 270 degrees.
1) Calculate how long cytokinesis would take in these embryo cells.
(give answer in hours)

2) Calculate the total number of cells resulting from one cell dividing by mitosis
eight times.

note; pls do in details. also, advices to complete such questions are very much appreciated.

first calculate the total time taken for the whole cycle, which can be deduced by
270/360 (multiplied by x) =9 hrs
here we re calculating the interphase, since we have extra information of it taking 9 hours, and x is the total hours.solve the equation and you will get the answer for 'x' value
next, solve first question...you now have the value for x,so
15/360 multiplied by x(the value you got in your previous answer)
for the second question, the formula is 2 raised to the power of number of divisions.
eg,for 2 divisions, 2squared which gives 4 cells.
now you can solve the second question too.
hope this helps!!
