Edexcel GCSE Higher tier Maths Paper 1 1H (1MA1) - 19th May 2023 [Exam Chat]

i really liked this exam
the only question i know i fully messed up was the 1kg carrots and tomato one

i made it look so messy but can remmber some stuff i did
7+5=2 480/12=40 40x7=280 40x5=200
so i assumed that 1kg for each had to be 40p but it didnt make sense i wrote 40p for both answers but i also worked this out and boxed it ( 280/5=56 and 200/9=22.2...)


my friend told me that it was 210:?( i forgot the other number

what have you lots got for the angle question at the back of the paper? i got 71 degree

I got something similar, but idk what it was asking to give. it didnt say they were integers and just asked for a set of values

Screwed up on the circle theorems q as well as the sphere diameter q because I was tired & made so many silly mistakes that I had to go back and correct which knocked my confidence a bit. What did you get for part b of the indices question where it asked to multiply 8 and 9 by fractions and then subtract

I got 30 and 54 for that one I think

i got 30 because sin(30)=0.5
i got 0.5 then did the inverse
it makes sense because u need to know some sine numbers without using calculator

you are meaning the 3d prism question, i got 30 aswell they are meaning for the circles therorms question, i also got 71 for that
