I'll admit that I only have 9 followers on Twitter. Yeah I know, very threadbare, and I'd like to know how to get more followers. I know it's simple, you have to engage with content people are interested in, retweet others and converse in trends-but I don't know how I'm meant to do all this effectively.
Does anyone have any advice on how to gain a larger following on Twitter?

make interesting, funny or relatable quote retweets or tweets. or be mutuals with more popular people.

Getting involved in chats over a tv show as it’s happening would probably help. The apprentice as an example.
