Sad that I'm missing out at uni
The year is almost over and I barely have any friends. I'm only civil with my flat so I don't go out with them, and all the time I hear them or other blocks having fun screaming and I really wish I could too. I only have one group of friends but most of them aren't too bothered so we only get together once a month. They're my housemates next year so I don't think I'll have a particularly vibrant social life which makes me a bit disappointed. I also didn't really have any luck at societies or my course, I met a few acquaintances but nobody to stay in touch/go out with.
Things may be different once you move into the house with your mates - you never know. You have done everything right to improve your social life - its a pity nothing has worked. Dont give up.
