does psychology really need bio a level?

would having psychology, sociology and religious studies be fine?
i would like to apply to aru cambridge however, their statement is scaring me.

https://www.aru.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/psychology

it states that psychology and science subjects are preferred.
will i be at a disadvantage? would sociology count as a science?

Hi!
In general, it depends on the uni and what they're after. Like, to do History at Royal Holloway, for example, you don't actually need History A-level. Looking at the link for this one though, it looks like you don't need psychology or science subjects to apply.

As for whether or not you'll be at a disadvantage, I think that even though having a science A-level would be useful, as long as you've done psychology A-level, you'll be fine! (But as you might have guessed I do history not psychology so this is just my guess).
Not sure if sociology counts as a science, sorry!

Good luck!
