How can you say I haven't tried??? look below i tried many times but I can't seem to figure out...

4 adults 5 children = £136
3 adults 2 children = £81

136 - 81 =105

A: 105/ 4=26
B:105/5=21

A:26/3=8.666~£8.67 per adult
B:26/2= £13 price per child

You can solve this using simultaneous equations.
For example, we know that 4 adults + 5 children = 136
We also know that 3 adults + 2 children = 81
To avoid confusion, lets express adults as a and children as c, although x and y are what tend to be used.
Now we can write 2 equations:
4a + 5c = 136
3a + 2c = 81
You should be able to solve from here
