Summer Studenship/Placement
Hi all, what do you think of summer studenships/placements not entirely related to your degree?
Basically, I study Environmental Science and I'm looking to get into Hydrogeology/Environmental Engineering masters. I have an opportunity to become a funded research fellow within a biological department and study plant health over the summer.
Do you think any kind of research work helps in future applications or should I decline and apply for other placements that start at a later date, with a great risk I might not get in anywhere.
