Did anyone get the last last part of the last question about stratified sampling? I left blank because I didn't get it. I don't remember now what it was about, and how many marks it was worth

I got 407

Q1b was about stem and leaf, did you count 26 for the total n, and then when it asked for IQR, did you get Q1 = 27/4 so 6.75th and Q3 = 3/4*27 = 20.25th. I found this over complicated, I then went on to do linear interpolation to find Q1 and Q3 and then subtract them. How did everyone else do that question?

I got 20 because
26 * 0.25 is 6.5 so between the 6th and 7th
26 * 0.75 is 19.5 so between the 19th and 20th

I got 58-38 = 20

It might be wrong but this is just what I got
yea because it is discrete data you need to add one so it becomes 27/2 = 6.75 and 6.75x3 = 20.25

It was stratified sampling but it was SOOOO hard!!! Did anyone get it ? Although it was just 2 marks, it was still hard.

And also, what did u write for the hypothesis of motorcycle and car question??

My hypothesis was "the older a vehicle is, the more sales it has"

that is right
what did anyone get on the random response first question where it said. Why is a random response method used here .

How hard does everyone think this paper was compared to pervious years?

it was well hard. esp cos there was so much writing rather than maths

I put "because it is a sensitive question so people are less likely to be honest"

I said it's used to ask sensitive questions that otherwise wouldn't get answered and that you can get a higher response rate

yes that's what i said, but my friend said that it is because he needs to use a better technique like a coin flip or a dice .

What does everyone think for the grade boundaries what might they look like? 🤔

Yes I got that for the question after the "why would you use a random response" question

they might be lower as that was hard paper 1, last year grade 9 was 121, so this year maybe like 109? maybe, but we don't know yet how the paper 2 will be like

Just an estimate:
I think a pass (grade 5) is 35% +
I think 45% + is a 6
I think 55% + is a 7
I think 65% + is an 8
I think 75% + is a 9

(the grade boundaries do change each year so this is just an estimate)

was there any other question anyone was unsure of ?
