Quoting an E-Mail in an exam

I have spoke to Prof.David Myers (a researcher appearing in eduqas a-level psychology) a few times regarding his research in 'Who is happy?'. I am wondering if I can use things he has said to me in exams it feels like a silly question as obviously this cannot be checked by examiners so im not sure.

do u know if he's written papers that have the same information in it? because if so, you probably could include it eg. 'Myers suggests that...' (idk if you need to cite year and paper for eduqas, i do aqa), otherwise it might be a bit of a risk

basically it's a bit of a risk, but if it's something that the examiners could possibly look up eg. in a research paper, it might be ok
