Social Life at various universities

I am applying for mainly PPE next year at Oxford, UCL, Bristol, Bath but I am undecided about my fifth option.

I have had a look at warwick, durham and edinburgh. Although warwick seems the perfect option, I seem to have this inclination against it because it seems like a small, boring town outside of coventry.

Can any warwick students shed light on the student/night life? As it is fairly important to me in terms of choosing a good uni. Thanks!

I live close to Warwick and it is a very small town. A few little bars etc but not exactly banging. If you are choosing a uni on nightlife, I am not sure this would be the one.
Having said that, I have 1 daughter through uni and 1 in year 1 and I know that most of their socialising is done in halls and student bars on site as few have enough money to go into town regularly.
Near Warwick, you have Stratford on Avon which def has a busier/younger vibe.
Ultimately you can only firm one and have 1 insurance so you already have good options.
I went to school in Bath and know the uni is not in town so this will be a similar situation. Not sure about the others.
